Easy-To-The-Table Chili!

When autumn rolls around I start thinking about turkey...and chili!  Most beef chili recipes require simmering of an hour or so, not to mention major prep work. And healthy usually doesn't apply to beef chili! But take a look at turkey cutlets. Most large supermarkets have them, and they are perfect for quick cooking. And now, we sort of enjoy turkey, whereas in a few months, we are sick of it, or at least that's true in my case! With a few pantry ingredients, and turkey...

Leftover Fresh Herbs?

I have a big pot of fresh herbs growing outside, but as we get into cooler weather (hopefully soon!), those herbs just don't survive the winter...with the exception of rosemary.  And if there's a specific herb I need that isn't in my garden, I buy it at the supermarket.  But I rarely use all of those purchased herbs and they usually don't last more than about three days. So, I have two methods to put those leftover herbs to good use. Fresh-dried herbs!  Pick the herb...
